Event Planning Checklist
- Did you include an announcement about accessibility (see example)?
- Will there be accessible paths of travel (consider weather variables)?
- Is it fairly easy to find the entrances: accessibility and signage
- Does the event staff know where restrooms—especially wheelchair-accessible restrooms—and emergency exits—especially accessible exits—are located?
- Are all meeting rooms wheelchair-accessible?
- When a room does not have fixed seats, will you create wheelchair seating locations throughout the meeting room area?
- Does event staff know where parking—including accessible parking—is located?
